Day of the Drags returns in 2026 for its 20TH ANNIVERSARY, and this one is set to be the biggest celebration of nostalgia drag racing we've ever put on.

DOTD 2026 is a full-throttle throwback to the golden era of drag racing.

COMPETITOR ENTRY ARE NOW OPEN AND CLOSE ON: 20 August 2026 at 9AM

2026 RACE CLASSES:
Street Classes:
◾️Classic Bike - 2 Crew
◾️Street (13.00+) - 2 Crew
◾️NEW Pre-48 Hot Rodders - 2 Crew
◾️NEW Retro Raiders - (10.50+) Sedan vehicles from 1980 to 1999 (power adders allowed) - 2 Crew

Two classes: A/RR: 10.50 to 12.99 & B/RR: 13.00 and slower

Competition classes:
◾️Middle Eliminator (9.00-10.99) - 3 Crew
◾️Top Eliminator - (7.00-8.99) - 4 Crew
◾️Top Gas - (10.50-12.99) - 3 Crew
◾️Vintage Gas (must meet Australian Gasser Rules) - 3 Crew
◾️Super Charged outlaws - 4 Crew

PLUS,
◾️A classic car Show & Shine showcasing the finest old-school builds around
◾️Post event track cruise to soak in the atmosphere
◾️More off track entertainment announcements to come!

Classic Car Show & Shine Award categories:
◾️Best Sedan
◾️Best Ute
◾️Best Wagon
◾️Best Hot Rod
◾️Best Coupe
◾️People's choice - A register will be on the eastern hill where any patron can cast their vote.

KEY INFO:
- Competitor Gate (Gate A) opens for competitors at 6:30AM
- Spectators to also enter via competitor gate (Gate A) from 8AM
- Racing from 9AM - approx. 6:30PM
- Show & Shine presentation ceremony at 2PM
