*Day of the Drags 2026 Postponed* new date - Saturday, 22 August 2026.

Unfortunately, the weather forecast has not improved for Saturday, and we have had to make the difficult decision to postpone Day of the Drags 2026 originally scheduled for Saturday, 27 June 2026.

Day of the Drags 2026 now has a new date - Saturday, 22 August 2026.

With 2026 marking the 20th anniversary of this iconic event, this new date gives us a great opportunity to make it even bigger and better. We are using this extra time to build something truly special and deliver a celebration worthy of this milestone year.

Competitor entries have also been reopened for the new date

All current ticket holders will automatically have their tickets rolled over to the new date.

If you are unable to attend on the new date, please email info@sydneydragway.com.au. Including a proof of purchase will help us process your request as quickly as possible.

Day of the Drags returns in 2026 for its 20TH ANNIVERSARY, and this one is set to be the biggest celebration of nostalgia drag racing we've ever put on.

DOTD 2026 is a full-throttle throwback to the golden era of drag racing.

Street Classes:
◾️Classic Bike - 2 Crew
◾️Street (13.00+) - 2 Crew
◾️NEW Pre-48 Hot Rodders - 2 Crew
◾️NEW Retro Raiders - (10.50+) Sedan vehicles from 1980 to 1999 (power adders allowed) - 2 Crew

Two classes: A/RR: 10.50 to 12.99 & B/RR: 13.00 and slower

Competition classes:
◾️Middle Eliminator (9.00-10.99) - 3 Crew
◾️Top Eliminator - (7.00-8.99) - 4 Crew
◾️Top Gas - (10.50-12.99) - 3 Crew
◾️Vintage Gas (must meet Australian Gasser Rules) - 3 Crew
